The Philadelphia Zoo - Tortoise Trail

Tortoise Trail is a new addition to the Reptile House.

Galapagos tortoises eat, sleep, and lumber along in the outdoor yard.

Occasionally you will hear a child say "Look, one of the turtles is trying to climb on top of the other one!". Then you will see a crowd of snickering visitors form around the exhibit area.

Of course, there are times when the tortoise really is just trying to climb over another one, but more often, the tortoise has other things on his amorous mind.
