Morning Strolls ... for Members
Only!
If you are a member of the Philadelphia Zoo, you can enter the Zoo an hour earlier than all the hundreds of other people who arrive at the gate at opening time on weekends this summer.
Here are just a few sights you can see during the early morning hours...
Early in the morning, you can see ...!
Buildings that are not crowded ...
A southern ground hornbill, also on a morning stroll ...
A douc langur facing you ...
The back of a douc langur's head ...
A female blue-eyed black lemur, who is not black, and who is wondering if anyone is watching her.
A male blue-eyed black lemur that is actually black ...
An elephant snacking ...
A male lion also strolling (while at the same time, looking for a place to nap) ...
A tiger looking curious, or looking curiously ...
An African painted dog about two seconds away from being sound asleep ...
